Day 3: today the senior class had to create toys from the "rubbish" they found lying around the courtyard. I love their creativity!! After that they had a go drawing using the charcoal from yesterday's fire!

Day 2 of poverty week... The senior girls completed their chores, prepared the fire and cooked lunch while the boys were learning inside. Then they learnt to make kites and plastic footballs to keep themselves entertained at lunchtime. Some tummies grumb

It's Poverty Week. What an incredible,fun day of learning. As part of our inquiry, we are focusing on poverty. Students were given an instruction sheet and had to use limited resources to filter dirty water. Our challenge was to built a "tippy tap."
